The Aztecs or Mexicas were the native American people.In the Aztecs time the Aztec were a small, nomadic, Nahuatl-speaking aggregation.During 12th century they embarked on a period of wandering and during 13th century settled in the central basin of México. The term Aztec, originally associated with the migrant Mexica.During 15th century Aztec created an empire,that was surpassed in size in the Americas only by that of the Incas in Peru.

Everyone of each person was a member of an extended family. The extended family included grandparents, aunts, and uncles, as well as parents, brothers, and sisters. The clan was the basis of all Aztec society and government. Every groups of the extended families joined to form clans. They didn't think what were they doing ,because they know the group clans was safe and free from danger. Twenty clans bond to form a tribe. Calpolli was the Aztec word for a clan. Calpolli appear from the Aztec word calli, which allude "house." Still some nobles dominate their own land, the calpolli dominate most of the land. The clan bisects its land among the families. Any calpolli elected its own officers to run its business. The Calpolli was a true democracy. Most of the important decisions were made by popular vote. Aztec women did not have the right to vote. The calpolli expected all of its able-bodied men to fight in any wars. The men acknowledge it an honor in addition to a charge to fight for their clan. All position of its members' lives were administer by the calpolli. Through the birth of a child, the parents consulted the calpolli's priest. The priest admire in the book of break to see if the birth date was lucky. Four days later, the family bind a feast to celebrate the birth and give the child a name. Meanwhile the celebrations, family members afford weapons and tools to baby boys. They afford weaving items and musical instruments to the baby girls.
The Aztecs advise the children in their homes. They advise the boys arrangement of hunting and fishing or crafts .The women advise the girls spinning, weaving, cooking, and other household duties. Through about age 13, the children went to schools accomplished by their clans. There, the boys learned about weapons and arrangement of war and the girls learned added homemaking skills as well as music and dance. The family organized for all marriages. The boy and girl commit usually gave their approval to be married. The young person could only marry someone outside the clan. Meanwhile the wedding ceremonies, the priest tied the cover of the bride and groom together. This was a symbol of the bond together of the two. The bride then became a part of her husband's clan.
